Here's my latest 3D art assignment.... remember the one made with tracing paper and wooden dowels? Same class. So I knitted hemp into long thin strands. I then rolled the strands into balls and gave them little braided tails. The 4 creatures are attacking the momma and baby. The momma is protecting its baby. Cute, huh? :)
And here's some cool henna that my friend did on my foot this weekend.
And a little Jesus fish on my hand! This stuff stays on 10-20 days.
What fun art.... I like the way the momma is protecting the baby.... that's what mommas do, you know!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I am familar with henna...how do the strands on the creatures compare with what is on your body?
Have a good day!
Love,
Nana
Cool tattoo -- it's nice to be able to experiment with temporary ones and not permanently alter your skin. I have a friend who regrets some of her tattoos. Have fun skipping around campus with your fancy feet!
ReplyDeletenana- the henna and art have nothing to do with eachother... i just thought it would be productive to kill two birds with one post! ha! thanks rebecca!
ReplyDeleteDuh!!!!Now I feel really stupid!!! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd you and Rebecca are probably still laughing!!! (and everyone else who reads this blog) Oh, well, glad I gave you a chuckle for the day!!! Love, Nana
Oh, how touching...I'd protect you in danger, as well. If I were there. Since I'm not, I ask God the Father to protect you.
ReplyDeleteDid Kara do the henna? How does she know how to do it? I think that's quite an art, right? She can always become a tattoo artist!
actually andra did it. and its just doodling... i doodle like that all the time... wow! that must mean that im an artist! ;)
ReplyDeleteI need to see your new bedroom. Grandma says it's laid out very nicely. Maybe a blog is in order?! Keep cool!
