Things that are Overwhelming Me
1. Meeting and connecting with all my new residents
2. All the activities, meetings, and plans that I have swirling around in my brain
3. The fact that classes start in 3 days, and I'm not even sure that I'm enrolled in the best classes for me
4. My still-full closet
5. The fact that in spite of all of this, God has me, loves me, and is taking care of every detail.
Hmmm..."overwhelming"....not fun. But it sounds like you have a good perspective. I felt rather overwhelmed yesterday as we moved into our new apartment here in Ulaanbaatar. Then, as I felt overwhelmed, I took a deep breath and said, "Okay, Lord, I have NO reason to grumble and fret; more than half the world's population doesn't have a good refrigerator as I do, and I'm complaining in my heart because it's not 'just right.' Many people don't have a bed; I have a great big one...bigger than my sheets will fit". (Which was overwhelming me a bit), but Dad figured out how to cut and fix them to fit. I'm sending you a "hug" from afar...we will hopefully skype in a day or two!
