- To be more healthy
- To observe sugar's effect on my mood, energy, and anxiety
- To lose weight
So, it's more of an experiment than anything. I've cut out all desserts, sweets, and candy, as well as foods with anything more than a couple grams of added sugar. I have been eating fruit, yogurt, milk, and other foods that have natural sugars in them. So far it has been going pretty smoothly. Sure, the cakes, cookies and chocolates I've been offered have been tantalizing. But not as tantalizing as the three above mentioned goals. I did a bit of research before choosing to do this, and seriously, sugar is so bad for you! It can basically be defined as a drug and is just as addictive as other drugs. And as I walk through the grocery aisles, most of the stuff I have to put back on the shelf because of the high sugar content is stuff that isn't natural and good for my body anyways. But, here is some of the delicious food I have been living off of.

The hummus is DELICIOUS spread over the pitas. And the celery with the awesome chunky peanut butter is delectable as well. I have been making omelets in the microwave (yeah, I didn't know it was possible either!) with ham and cheese. So needless to say, I have been eating good! And when I have a craving for something sweet, strawberries, oranges, and yogurt take care of that! Hello, sugar... goodbye, sugar!
Way to go! Press on as you say good bye to sugar!
